Talent Award

The Department of Visual Arts offers Talent Awards to new continuing students, new applicants, and incoming freshman. See details below for more information.

To apply please click on the "Applications" tab to the left and read the Talent Award Instructions. Return to the "Applications" tab and click on the "Go" in the "Undergraduate Applications". Create your account on the Slideroom screen and follow the directions from there.

The Talent Award is a tuition award based upon the quality and caliber of student work.

All awards are deposited into the students University account and are not given in cash. The granting of an award does not guarantee admission to the University. All University submission requirements must be met before an award can be granted. Award applications must be submitted online (please see Applications tab) by 5 p.m. on February 1st on any given year.

Students must be registered for a minimum number of credit hours during the semesters for which the award is granted in order to receive the award. Required semester hours are shown in the table below.

Students on probation, warning, etc. will not be permitted to receive awarded money.
